Ce Saturday May 11 the territory of Provence Alps Agglomeration adorns itself with the colors of Olympism with the passing of the Olympic Flame on our land of pure emotions! It is with pride and great enthusiasm that we invite you to celebrate together the values conveyed by this unique event.
The journey of the flame
• Promenade Museum: Departure of the 1st torchbearer at 12:10 p.m.: The torchbearers follow one another throughout the route:
• Bridge of Arches
• Avenue Saint Benoit / du Front de Bléone / Demontzey
• November 11 roundabout
• Great Bridge
• Avenue de Verdun
• Insurgent roundabout
• Avenue Simone Pellissier (penetrating): Convoy / Promenade du Tibet: Public
• Michaël Baghioni and Yann Simeoni roundabout (firefighter roundabout)
• Alexandra David Neel Bridge (blue bridge)
• René Vietto roundabout
Activities of the day
The day will not be limited to the torch race. From 10 a.m., the streets of Digne will come alive to the rhythm of a musical stroll which will start at the market and head towards the lake, central place of the festivities. 11pm to 19pm, the edge of the lake will vibrate to the rhythm of the initiations, various demonstrations and shows which will take place on the Alpine sea side and near the Nautiles car park and the Restaurant du lac.
In the evening, from 19AM to 21PM, a big party is planned on the Restaurant du Lac side. It will be an opportunity to come together over a drink, share laughs and stories, and celebrate together the values that the Olympic flame continues to carry across continents.
