Le Brusquet is a largely residential commune located at the gates of Digne-les-Bains, in the Bléone valley, at an altitude of 780 meters.

The main hamlets are le Plan, le Moulin and le Mousteiret. The village is dominated by its Lauzière hill where a castle was established and where the Notre-Dame-de-Lauzière chapel remains today.

In Mousteiret is the Church of the Assumption with its pretty bell tower with glazed tiles, as well as a chapel. The Notre-Dame-de-Lauzière chapel dominates the village where the Notre-Dame parish church (1844), in the Romanesque style, and the Saint-Maurice church, a former parish church (12°-13° s. ).

Hikes / walks: A short loop leads to the hill of Lauzière and its chapel. From the summit (955 m), you will have a beautiful view of the Bléone valley and the surrounding mountains.
A path runs along the right bank of the Bléone and joins La Javie.
