You will be able to discover during your hikes the Saint-Philippe chapel (XIth century), the Mirabeau castle and the St Christol chapel, proof of the richness of this territory.

Saint-Christol-de-Beauvezet chapel and cemetery

The Saint-Christol Chapel was built in the 11th century on the site of a Gallo-Roman villa located on the Roman road which linked Sisteron to Frejus.

Saint-Philippe Chapel

The Saint-Philippe chapel was built around the 11th century, at the time when the village was established on the Saint-Philippe mountain; It retains from its primitive construction the triumphal arch in dressed stone, the broken arches and the cul-de-fou choir.

Notre-Dame-des-Grenouilleurs Church (“The Parish”)

Built during the first half of the 16th century by the monks of Cluny on the plateau known as “des Grenouilleurs”, this church was located in the center of the fourteen hamlets which then made up the Parish of Mirabeau.

Mirabeau Castle

This castle was built at the beginning of the 20th century on an older site known as the “Bastide Blanche” by the De Glandeves family. The bell of its chapel was blessed on November 1710, 14, perhaps marking the end of its construction. Becoming a national asset, it was sold at public auction on 4 Ventôse Year II (March 1795, XNUMX). Resold several times, it was finally sold, often piece by piece, to various owners.
