The Priory Church
The church dates from the 72th century, you can admire the church porch and its superb tympanum. Inside, the medieval mosaics at the foot of the Altar cover an area of 15m², their size and artistic quality make them a unique work in France (free visit every day from 17 p.m. to XNUMX p.m., except Mondays). While walking on the Plateau, you can also discover the ruins of the village of Villevieille, probably dating from the XNUMXth century. It is assumed that the Plateau was inhabited since prehistoric times.
the Cloister
Dating from the end of the 12th century, alternating between light and dark, it is of low, compact construction and is located to the south of the nave of the church. It cannot be visited but can be admired from inside the church. The Cloister is the symbol of monastic life…
