Le clocher donjon de Thoard

The dungeon bell tower of Thoard
An essential monument in the Duyes Valley, this tower was probably the keep in the 12th or 13th century. The parish church was then attached to it and the wall was pierced to allow communication between the two buildings. The bell tower was added in the 17th century.
