By train and bus
The mythical Train des Pignes connects Nice and Digne les Bains via the Railways of Provence. Digne-les-Bains station is a 10-minute walk from the city center. Taxis from €7 to reach the city centre.
Coming from Paris, the Rhodanian axis or Occitanie, the station ofAix-en-Provence-TGV, allows connection to Digne-les-Bains via shuttles at the rate of 5 round trips per day. From the stations of Veynes or St Auban, the connection to Digne-les-Bains is also provided by a coach service.
By carpool
The community Provence Alps Agglomeration has a carpooling platform to connect drivers and passengers from all municipalities to promote shared mobility at the local level!
Adapted to the rural and mountainous character of the territory where the car is often the most practical mode of travel, this free service is a responsible mobility solution in areas with little or no public transport.
By car
Digne les Bains is located in the heart of the department of Alpes de Haute Provence, in the Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur region. To get there by road, take the D 1075 from Grenoble (180 km) or the A 51 from Marseille (145 km) or the N 202 from Nice (140 km). Digne les Bains is on the Route Napoléon, which connects Golfe Juan to Grenoble. To get to the Tourist Office, follow the indication “centre-ville”. The Tourist Office is located Place du Tampinet, next to the bus station.

- Marseille airport: Digne-les-Bains is located 140 km (1h30) from Marseille Provence Airport.
- Nice Airport: Digne-les-Bains is located 140 km (2h30) from Nice Côte d'Azur Airport.

Getting around in Digne-les-Bains
City bus
The whole city, tourist sites and places and administrations are served by the Dignois Urban Transport Networks (RTUD).
Made of 4 urban lines (line 1 is doubled for schoolchildren), the network operates from Monday to Saturday. For People with Reduced Mobility, the network provides a special line: FlexiTUD.
This is a minibus specially equipped for people with disabilities allowing on-demand and door-to-door transport. The beneficiaries of this service are holders of the “Flexitud” card (valid for 2 years) issued by the Communal Center for Social Action.

2 online: Les Thermes – Charles de Gaulle – ZA les Arches – Champourcin. Line accessible free of charge for treatment card holders (towards the thermal baths).
3 online: Town hall – Bus station – Railway station of Provence – Georges Pompidou – Le Moulin. Does not work on Wednesday morning.
5 online: Town hall – La Bléone – Ferréols lake – Gaubert school – Marie de Gaubert
Pricing
- Single ticket: €1 on sale on the bus;
- €5,50 for a booklet of 10 Tickets, on sale at the thermal establishment, at the Tourist Office, at the reception of the town hall and in tobacconists.
- The Curist Card, on sale for €15 at the Tourist Office, gives unlimited access to the city's bus network during the cure period. On presentation of proof of treatment and identity card.
