Itinerary Refuge d'Art
A work of art to explore in about ten days of walking designed by the British artist Andy Goldsworthy in partnership with the Gassendi Museum (Digne les Bains) and the Geological Reserve of Haute Provence.
Description
This 150 km hiking route (8 to 10 days of walking) is punctuated by "Refuges", ancient habitats restored by Andy Goldsthworthy who also created a sculpture for each of these sites.
The surroundings of Digne les Bains, in the heart of the UNESCO Geopark of Haute Provence, thus has the largest collection of works by the artist.
