Grande Traversée VTT La TransVerdon

“La TransVerdon” begins at the sources of the Verdon, at the Allos pass, located at an altitude of 2.247 m. It is a journey of 260 km between these alpine mountains and Gréoux-les-Bains, resolutely complete and technical, punctuated by well-deserved swimming breaks.

The TransVerdon is intended for regular practitioners wishing to alternate climbs on paths, sometimes physical, and descents on fun and technical trails. Between these stages, sections on paths allow you to recover and take full advantage of all the diversity of the landscapes of the Alpes de Haute-Provence.

Throughout this exceptional itinerary you will find suitable accommodation which will allow you to organize your stages according to your wishes. If it is necessary to plan a week to complete each of these routes, it is possible to complete only part of them during a short stay.
