Departure from the primary school of l'Escale
Route details
Description
On this circuit, there are superb viewpoints on the Escale reservoir allowing you to visualize the evolution of the landscape caused by the dam. The first 3 kilometers of this loop are coupled with circuit n°8 "La Rouerie". Do not miss a visit to the old village of Vière, also called the Old Stopover, in which fountains, cobblestones and old stones mark history.
Continue on the track, leaving the Champ de Vin farm on your right. A little further on, leave the common markings of circuit n°8 to take the left track towards Volonne. A path then replaces the track. After passing near the old villages of Vignorgues, go back up a new track which will guide you to Volonne.
The return to L’Escale will be via the Tour du Lac trail.
