In Haute Provence, the construction of a dam on the Verdon has enabled the birth in 1973 of one of the most beautiful lake s in Provence. The lake of Sainte-Croix. The lake is a stretch of pure turquoise water jealously protected. Located in a picturesque setting you will feel privilege to engage in all sorts of aquatic activities such as boating, (electric only) sailing, pedalos canoe-kayak and hiking. Sainte Croix du Verdon sailing school offers lessons and even the youngest will learn how to sail at the Pirate Club!

As the seasons go by, the lake takes on the colours of the seasons and reflects snowy mountains.
