“Les Thermes” Art Refuge

Unique experience than that of Andy Goldsworthy, internationally recognized artist, who imagines a project combining contemporary art and safeguarding rural heritage on the protected territory of the Geopark of Haute-Provence, around Digne les Bains.
Description
“In a sense, the cairns inside the houses become the milestones
walking and memorials to those who once lived
here. Walk the old paths that were once the main roads
linking the villages together communicates the very strong feeling of the energy and the life that once existed in the villages now in ruins, located high up in the mountains, and thereby perhaps evokes, in return, the precariousness and fragility of our lives.“
