In the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, the LPO PACA carries out sustained and regular actions with the regional natural parks of Verdon and Luberon. Actions in the agglomeration communities of Digne and Manosque, as well as in the Haut Verdon, make it possible to raise public awareness of nature protection.
In 2019, 279 LPO members were domiciled in the Alpes de Haute-Provence. The active members of the LPO in the department are organized around three local groups. The Val d'Allos Haut Verdon group created in 2018 has taken off and has already organized many significant events on its territory.
