L'Étoile du Berger: a family tradition in the heart of Haute-Provence

Nestled at the foot of the Cheval Blanc massif, the family farm “L'Étoile du Berger” has been perpetuating unique artisanal expertise for three generations. Between raising Label Rouge lambs, growing lavender, and producing the delicate Sarteau pear, this farm embodies Provençal authenticity. Heirs to a candied fruit tradition passed down by Jean Méla, the producers now candied their pears themselves, revealing their full flavor.
