Description
3 days / 2 nights, full board in a small boutique hotel, classified 3 stars in Digne-les-Bains, valid from April to November, departures possible every day, from 4 to 12 people.
Geostay program:
Day 1: Arrival in the afternoon, possible access to the Thermal Spa of Haute Provence in Digne-les-Bains, or at the end of the day (day of your choice) for accommodation in your hotel room. Dinner, overnight stay, breakfast and picnic to take away in the morning included.
Day 2: at 9 am departure from the hotel towards the Bès valley, near the Clue du Pérouré.
9:30 a.m.: Meeting with a mountain guide for the Vieil Esclangon hike (210 m drop). 11am visit of the Veil Esclangon art refuge then walk (20 more minutes) to Le Serre which dominates the village and offers an impressive panorama of the UNESCO Geopark then return by the same route.
13 p.m.: Picnic break at the Bès footbridge
14:30 p.m.: departure for the hike accompanied by the Blade of Facibelle, a monumental geological curiosity.
17 p.m.: end of the day, return to the hotel for the evening, dinner and overnight stay.
3 Day:
9 a.m.: departure from the hotel after breakfast and recovery of the picnic
9:30 a.m.: guided tour of the Promenade Museum, bring walking shoes to take a path, dotted with contemporary works of art, to the exhibition halls of the house of the ramparts. A geologist will introduce you to the marine biodiversity of yesterday and today and the ammonites and fossils of the Region, this remarkable natural heritage dating back 300 million years.
11:30 a.m.: guided tour of the ammonite slab, one of the emblematic sites of the UNESCO Geopark of Haute-Provence, a Jurassic seabed which concentrates more than 1500 fossils, commented outing.
12 noon transfer to the heights of Digne-les-Bains for the picnic, at Andran and geological reading of landscapes with a geologist.
14 p.m.: end of stay, 3-hour access possible to the Thermal Spa, at an additional cost.

Supplement for a single room: €15 / day (single bed) and €25 / day (double bed).
